Defining Moments?

Kierstin: random and unrelated: do you ever stop and think "this moment right now is defining me?" because i literally just stopped everything i was doing and sat here and said "this moment is odd" and realized so much in such a little time.
Friend: I usually think that sort of thing everytime I'm playing a really large show or something but maybe I am thinking something in a different way?
Kierstin: hmmm. i don't know. it's hard to say.
Friend: Was it a good thing though?
Kierstin: i just finished two relatively normal phone conversations and just had the thought "those were defining and this moment following those is odd and important"
Friend: That sounds really unique and really interesting actually. I don't know if I've ever had that, but that sounds pretty sweet
Kierstin: it was kind of surreal. like...this feels like a moment I'll look back on in a few years and say "yeah, that mattered because ______"
